Delete Your Account & Data

Send an email to support@getdarajah.com from the email address registered to your Darajah account, with the subject line “Account deletion request”.

To help us verify ownership, please send the request from your registered email address. No other personal information is required. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:

• Your account and login credentials (email, authentication records).
• Your profile (name, preferences, premium status).
• Your learning progress — completed lessons, level and exam records, streaks.
• Your private journal reflections.
• Your quiz attempts and leaderboard entries.
• Affiliate/referral records tied to your account, where you are the account holder.

For legal, tax, and fraud-prevention reasons, we retain a limited set of records even after account deletion:

• Payment and transaction records — retained for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax and accounting law. These are held by our payment processors (Razorpay and Google Play) and in our financial records. They are de-identified from your profile where possible.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot be linked back to you.

Deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund. Refunds are handled separately under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Darajah premium is a one-time lifetime purchase tied to your account. If you delete your account and later create a new one, your previous premium access does not carry over. Please contact us before deleting if you have an active purchase you wish to preserve.
